3. The vessel is to category C of the Recreational Craft directive and is the latest in our FCN seagoing barge range, that we introduced in 2003. In 2004  we built “Princes Matilda” for the actor Timothy Spall  The boat motored to London on the Grand Union Canal then circumnavigated the UK, by way of the Caledonian canal, omitting the very north of Scotland, visited Belfast and the Isle of Man. Later he and his wife crossed to mainland Europe and then through the Baltic sea, reaching Elsinore in Denmark. However our FCN barges are equally happy cruising wide beam  waterways in the UK, Ireland and Europe with the shadow draft and semi V cross section allowing them more easily in to the side of the waterway.

From the stern:

​Roomy fold down wheelhouse double glazed and hinged down when required, with movable seating. Central heating radiator Aft deck with canopy and movable seating, LPG locker set into deck and vented overboard.​

​Steps down to dining area, convertible to double berth with storage under. Shower  and separate W.C  with basin and extractor fan.  This area can be partitioned off if required to give privacy to this cabin.

​Door through to spacious galley. Good sized sink and drainer, LPG hob and oven. Extractor fan Drawers and cupboards below. Opposite are cupboards and drawers and full sized dishwasher. Large fridge with separate freezer below. Pease note that the worktops and sink/drainer are awaiting the buyer’s  choice, together with floor covering, window blinds and upholstery ”D” galley  / / “C” Galley/”A” Fridge  freezer /”E Galley

Diesel fired Kabola central heating boiler supplying radiators and hot water tank

24 volt LED lighting. 240volt mains from large battery bank supplying 5kw 240volt inverter charger. Shore power connection.  LPG gas bottle locker vented overboard for the gas hob.

Fresh water 1200litres in 3 stainless steel tanks, 600 litres black water in 2 stainless tanks with pumpout connections and overboard pumps . 2 diesel tanks 300 litres each.

​Windows, with adjustable opening, are double glazed to the cabin by Vetus to category A Recreational Craft  Regulations.​

Roof  hatches, opening, by Vetus. Wheelhouse windows double glazed toughened glass set in hardwood frames. Opening roof skylight, double glazed in hardwood frames with fitted protective cover.​
