The strip chine hull has proved simple to fabricate and a choice of keel arrangements are available, either twin ballasted, asymmetric, hydrofoil bilge keels or moderate length central keel; there is little difference in their performances. Both systems feature full depth, skeg hung rudders.
The original concept again featured extensive cruising between U.K. and the Mediterranean for two people and she has proved more than adequate for this task two having met up in the West Indies. The accommodation is for five with the usual offices of chart table, galley, generous toilet/shower compartment plus more than adequate stowages for both personal effects and ships equipment.
Saloon areas is generous and comfortable. The raised foredeck gives a high internal volume, excellent foredeck space (even for a small rigid dinghy) and ease of construction. A recommended project for the serious cruising person not needing too large a vessel or an excellent size as a retirement boat.
