sarah and david’s huffler 40

David and Sarah purchased their seagoing Peter Nicholls Huffler 40 from us early in 2019.


Originally built by us in 2009, we made various improvments for them including a new washing machine and a larger inverter/charger. They purchased the boat with a warranty and have been cruising her on the River Severn and Avon.


The Huffler 40 is ideal both inland and at sea they hope to venture further afield next seaon.

We really have been immersed in the boat (no pun intended) and life in the Marina and have the name on the boat and have had the blinds fitted to the wheelhouse.

We have done a number of cruises up and down the Severn, and we have been on the Avon a few times - with a few overnight stops.

The boat attracts a lot of attention wherever we go. We are now quite well known to the Avon lockeepers at Tewkesbury and have put on a few shows for the gongoozlers.

We have had no problems with the boat whatsoever. We were OK getting under the King John’s bridge at Tewkesbury. Eckington bridge also posed no problems though moorings there are not plentiful.

Life on the boat is very comfortable - but then I don’t need to tell you that!
