Visit our new customers Jess and Alan and take an overnight cruise to experience the joy of owning a Peter Nicholls FCN Seagoing Barge. Our latest Seagoing FCN 69 ft Dutch Barge is now cruising on The Thames and we can arrange for you to visit the owners Jess and Alan. They offer B&B trips on The Thames, an ideal way for you to learn more about living and cruising wide beam barges and of course, our boats in particular. Or pop and visit Jess and Alan for afternoon tea on their boat. Equally happy cruising inland on canals in the UK and Europe or at sea the Peter Nicholls FCN Seagoing Dutch barge does it all. The Peter Nicholls FCN is an ideal choice to live aboard in style and comfort. Jess and Alan are not new to wide beam boating and their new boat incorporates some features on their wish list having discussed this all with us. You are welcome to visit us at Braunston in Northamptonshire to discuss your own requirements and see our boats at first hand and then visit Jess and Alan at their boat located on The Thames for afternoon tea or a light lunch to look over the boat. If you decide to book an overnight cruise then we will refund the cost to you should you go forward to order your boat with us. Our boats have for a long time been energy efficient and environmentally friendly. The solar panels we supplied the owners of this boat give a large boost to the electric supply on the boat. This means that the onboard 240 volt system relies less on shore power and the generator and more use is made of the batteries and 240 volt inverter to supply mains power on board. If you are looking to go further and have an electric powered or hybrid boat then we can offer that option if required.
